90.7FM KVIT “The Goldmine” Is the Valley’s First Commercial Free Hit Music Station. Broadcasting from The East Valley Institute of Technology, KVIT is a student run radio station aiming at 12-24 year olds in the southeast Valley. But on weekends, The Station will expand its programming to a wider age range.  Currently the signal is picked up in MesaChandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, San Tan Valley, South Tempe, Maricopa and Casa Grande. More than 3/4 of a million people live in range of KVIT’s signal. Others can hear the stream at 907goldmine.com.

East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) broadcast instructor Steve Grosz started plans in 1998 and signed the station on January 29th 2011.  EVIT offers the program to high school students for free.  Adults may also attend through the 
Adult Education Program.
